Saturday, December 23 from 1pm to 2pm
From dawn until dusk music rang from the Santa Cruz Mission during the 19th century. Bells indicated daily events, congregations sang masses, and indigenous rhythms rang through the air. Then, as now, music expressed beliefs, culture, and identity. We’ll share these stories and songs as we explore a day of music at the mission. Event is free. Rain or shine. For more information, please call (831) 425-5849. Events made possible by Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks and California State Parks.
