FACTS:

Water related accidents are the second leading cause of accidental death for kids of ages 4 to 19. Accidents are predictable and preventable.

DESCRIPTION:

The K-3 program is a large multimedia puppet show starring "Splasher the Frog." He shows the children what can happen when you are not safe in and around the water using the "AquaSMART Stunt Dummies." The K-3 program may also be used as a K-6 one.

The 4-6 program is a multimedia game show format where two teams (each team representing half the audience) compete for prizes for their side of the audience while learning how to stay safe in and around the water.

Assemblies last 35-40 minutes each.

SAFETY POINTS THAT ARE COVERED:

(1) Learn to swim!
(2) Wear a life jacket!
(3) Stay away from canals!
(4) Alcohol, drugs and boating DON'T MIX!
(5) Look before you leap!
